Last month, the Paranormal Network YouTube channel released a Mytheries episode that was dedicated to the legend of the Jersey Devil – which really made me realize that there is a severe lack of cool Jersey Devil movies out there. Thankfully, there are filmmakers like Dale Fabrigar who are trying to do this creature justice. Fabrigar directed the Jersey Devil psychological thriller creature feature Reed’s Point, which will be receiving a digital and DVD release courtesy of Uncork’d Entertainment on April 12th. You can check out the trailer in the embed above and see if Reed’s Point looks like a movie you’d like to watch in a couple weeks.

Scripted by Tricia Aurand, Suzanne DeLaurentiis, and Sandy Lo, the film has the following synopsis:

A vehicle crash in the Pine Barrens leads to a missing teen which raises conspiracy theories about the infamous Jersey Devil legend. On the anniversary of the crash, Sarah Franklin, convinced her cousin Kelsey is alive, goes out to the crash site with Alex, Kelsey’s boyfriend, to investigate. Things go downhill quickly as Sarah and Alex uncover what really lurks in the woods.

Reed’s Point stars newcomer Sasha Anne, Julia Kelly (Light As a Feather), Evan Adams (The Wrong Valentine), Madison Ekstrand (Very Frightening Tales), Anthony Jensen (Nazi Overlord), Joseph Almani (Law of Attraction), Lanett Tachel (Athena), and Joe Estevez (Soultaker and 310 other credits).

Sandy Lo produced the film, with Ivan Kavalsky co-producing and Suzanne DeLaurentiis serving as executive producers. Associate producers were Ronnie Watson, Matthew Payne, Florence Ekstrand, Keith Ekstrand, Jimmy V. Glover, and Regina René Lines.

Fabrigar’s previous directing credits include D-Railed, 100 Yards, and Middleton Christmas.
