Here’s your feel-good story of the day. Jennifer Coolidge has accomplished a lot in her career, and she is seeing even more career heights with her recent role on White Lotus, which just garnered her an Emmy nomination. Despite that success, most of us remember her for playing Stifler’s mom in the 1999 hit teen sex comedy American Pie. As it turns out, that role benefitted Coolidge greatly because she says her number of sexual partners increased considerably after the film.
During a chat with Variety, Coolidge looked back on her role in the 1999 film, and she said playing the “MILF’ in the teen classic benefitted her greatly:
“I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from American Pie. There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with.”
Good for Jennifer Coolidge! She turned a few minutes of screen time into something that could benefit her personal life. I remember when American Pie came out and those final moments with Coolidge and Finch, played by Eddie Kaye Thomas, were all we could talk about. Many of us secretly wished we could have our own Stifler’s mom moment.
