Get ready to bid farewell to Jason Momoa’s Baba Voss. Apple TV+ confirmed today that the upcoming season 3 of See will be the last for the post-apocalyptic drama series. The first teaser trailer for the new season has also dropped, which you can check out above.

The series is set centuries after a virus has decimated humankind and left its survivors blind. See season 3 takes place close to a year since “Baba Voss defeated his nemesis brother Edo (Dave Bautista) and bid farewell to his family to live remotely in the forest. But when a Trivantian scientist develops a new and devastating form of sighted weaponry that threatens the future of humanity, Baba returns to Paya in order to protect his tribe once more.” In an official statement, See showrunner and executive producer Jonathan Tropper said:

We are thrilled to share this epic final chapter of See, which delivers all the intense drama, riveting action and heartfelt emotion fans have come to expect, as well as what we think is a deeply satisfying conclusion to our story. Building a world without sight was a particularly unique and continuous challenge that was met through the passionate and thoughtful collaboration of a phenomenally talented and diverse team both in front of and behind the camera. The show has been a monumental labor of love for all involved, and we are eternally grateful for the way See has been embraced by viewers around the world.

In addition to Jason Momoa, See season 3 also stars Sylvia Hoeks, Hera Hilmar, Christian Camargo, Nesta Cooper, Archie Madekwe, Tom Mision, and more. Although See may be ending, Momoa will be sticking with Apple TV for Chief of War, a historical drama series that will follow the unification and colonization of Hawaii from an indigenous point of view. The third and final season of See will debut on Apple TV+ on August 26th.
