The 2016 anime movie One Piece Film: Gold is celebrating its fifth anniversary by returning to theaters in the United States.

Toei Animation and Fathom Events announced on Wednesday that the film would be returning to theaters next month for a special two-night, limited-time engagement. The films will be shown off in both English-dubbed and subtitled formats on both July 24 and July 26, 2022, respectively. Tickets for the film are on sale now, with select theaters across the United States set to host the film.

Originally released in 2016, One Piece Film: Gold follows the story of Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates as they take on the wealthy and ambitious Gild Tesoro, captain of a massive ship known as the moving country of dreams. The film was a smash hit upon its launch, becoming one of Japan’s top five highest-grossing domestic films of 2016.

One Piece‘s next film, One Piece Film: Red, will focus on Shanks, the leader of the Red Hair Pirates and one of the Four Emperors. Shanks is an important part of the series lore, as he inspired protagonist Monkey D. Luffy to become a pirate, and gave him the straw hat that he now wears.
