A new poster for Shazam: Fury of the Gods has been released, serving as an appetizer ahead of tomorrow’s new trailer.

We’ve got a fresh new trailer for Shazam: Fury of the Gods coming our way tomorrow, but a new poster has also dropped (courtesy of IGN) which serves as a little appetizer. We’ve got Zachary Levi as the main man, with the Daughters of Atlas (Helen Mirren as Hespera, Lucy Liu as Kalypso, and Rachel Zegler as Anthea) behind him, and appearances from Djimon Hounsou as the Wizard and Shazam’s super-hero family.

Bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with having adult Super Hero alter-egos,” reads the official synopsis. “But when the Daughters of Atlas, a vengeful trio of ancient gods, arrive on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, Billy—aka Shazam—and his family are thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of their world.

Shazam: Fury of the Gods features the return of Asher Angel as Billy Batson, who is one of the few not featured in the new poster. Billy’s foster family will be back, including Jack Dylan Grazer/Adam Brody as Freddy Freeman; Ian Chen/Ross Butler as Eugene Choi; Faithe Herman/Meagan Good as Darla Dudley; Jovan Armand/D.J. Cotrona as Pedro Pena; and Grace Caroline Currey as Mary Bromfield. Marta Milans and Cooper Andrews also return as Rosa and Victor Vásquez, the foster parents of Billy and his siblings.

Given the uncertain state of the DC Universe, fans have assumed that Shazam: Fury of the Gods will be the last appearance of Zachary Levi as the title character, but the actor has said that he’s not being recast. Levi also came to the defence of DC Studios’ James Gunn when fans began criticizing him for his choices about the franchise. “You have no idea the reasonings behind any of the decisions that are going on,” Levi said. “The amount of conjecture and rumor mill and drama and nonsense that keeps getting spun around out there on Instagram and Twitter is laughable. It is unbelievably laughable. So I would just say be patient and give them some space and some time to try and really make something special. And I think something that DC deserves to have and something that [Zack] Snyder tried to do, and it just didn’t ultimately materialize, guys.

Shazam: Fury of the Gods will hit theaters on March 17th, but be sure to check back tomorrow for the new trailer!
