Fast X End & Post-Credits Scene Explained

[ad_1]

Vin Diesel and his family of action heroes are back in Fast X, the tenth main movie in the Fast & Furious franchise. This new film features Dominic Toretto trying to protect his family from Dante (Jason Momoa), a villain with ties to Dom’s past. With the Marvel Cinematic Universe popularizing the use of after-credits scenes in films, many audiences will be wondering if they have to stick around to see if there is a post-credits scene at the end of Fast X. Here is everything you need to know about the Fast X post-credits scene.

Beware, spoilers lie ahead for Fast X!

Is there a post-credits scene in Fast X?

Yes, there is one mid-credits scene in Fast X. It occurs halfway through, and it features a team of officers searching a building for Dante.

We hear Dante’s voice echoing through the building, and it is revealed that one of the officers is Hobbs (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson).

Dante’s voice tells Hobbs that he is out for revenge against him. Although Dom and his crew stole his father’s fortune, Hobbs is the one who pulled the trigger and killed his father. Hobbs takes off his mask and tells Dante that he is not too hard to find. He then, in signature Hobbs form, calls Dante a “sumbitch” before the rest of the credits roll.

This is a key moment in Fast & Furious history, as The Rock and Vin Diesel infamously got into some beef behind the scenes of The Fate of the Furious. The Rock went on to appear in a Fast & Furious spin-off called Hobbs & Shaw co-starring Jason Statham, but in a 2021 interview with CNN, The Rock stated he would not return to the Fast & Furious series. This makes his return quite unexpected but a welcome one, as Fast & Furious 11 may feature a showdown between Hobbs and Dante.
