Classroom of the Elite II Episode 6 Recap

Horikita approaches Sudo and attempts to convince him to return to the festival. Sudo reveals he decided to step up for the festival because he wanted to be acknowledged positively. Meanwhile, Ayanokoji confronts Kushida and asks to confirm if she is the traitor. Kushida denies it, but then she asks Ayanokoji why he did not bother changing the participants’ list. Shortly after they talk more, Kushida admits she leaked the list and revealed her VIP status during the cruise exam. She tells Ayanokoji that she wants him and Horikita expelled.

Sudo returns to grab a drink, surprised to see Horikita still waiting for him. Horikita tells Sudo they have similarities, which Sudo doesn’t believe. Horikita talks about her brother and how she continuously tries to catch up to him. She realizes her selfish actions and admits she needs the help of her friends to succeed. Sudo is greatly affected by her speech and eventually agrees to help. Horikita and Sudo return to Class D, and Sudo apologizes for his behavior. Horikita and her partner ask if other people can sub for them in the final race. Kushida and Ayanokoji replace them. During Ayanokoji’s part, he runs incredibly fast, about the same level as Horikita’s brother. The final results of the festival show Class D in last place. However, some of Class D praise Ayanokoji for his running. Meanwhile, Horikita acknowledges her growth as a person.

Horikita meets with Ryuen and Kushida in a hidden corner somewhere on campus. She tells Kushida that she knows she’s the traitor. Horikita also knows about Kushida’s real personality. Kushida drops her act and tells Horikita she plans to get her expelled no matter what. Ryuen admits he worked with Kushida and asked Yamashita to injure Horikita. Horikita reveals she was recording Ryuen, but he was doing the same thing. Suddenly, Ryuen receives an anonymous email containing a recording of him instructing Yamashita to target Horikita. He commends the mystery person pulling the strings. Ryuen vows he will find this mystery person.
