Brie Larson, Fast 10, The Fast Saga, Fast and furious, Fast and furious 10

Well, this is unexpected news! Oscar-winning actress and Captain Marvel herself, Brie Larson, is joining The Family. That’s right, Larson is joining The Fast Family in Fast 10, the first part of the two-part finale of the Fast and Furious franchise. Vin Diesel made the announcement in a post on his Instagram page.

The caption on Diesel’s post reads, “Yeah yeah yeah… you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to your self ” that’s Captain Marvel”. Clearly, there is love and laughter in this image. What you don’t see however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast10. You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie.” You can check out the Instagram post below!

Details on who Brie Larson will be playing are unknown at this time but kudos to Vin Diesel for at least making casting for the tenth installment pretty interesting. In addition to Diesel, Larson will star alongside previously announced cast members including Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michelle Rodriguez, Sung Kang, and Jordana Brewster. Another high-profile name, Jason Momoa, was added to the cast some time ago and he’ll reportedly be playing a villain in the film.

What are YOUR thoughts on Brie Larson joining the cast of Fast 10? The news installment of The Fast Saga hits screens on May 19, 2023.
