Vincent D’Onofrio made his highly anticipated return as Kingpin in Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye series. As he readies to return again in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series, a new report from The Cosmic Circus hints at what Wilson Fisk might be up to.

According to the report, a major storyline for D’Onofrio’s Fisk will see him attempt to become the mayor of New York City — a role that he’s held previously in various comic runs. However, all of this won’t happen in Daredevil: Born Again, as the report mentions that Fisk’s path to becoming mayor is expected to begin in the upcoming Marvel Studios series Echo, which will be led by Alaqua Cox as she reprises her role as Maya Lopez.

The report also mentions that Fisk’s path to mayoral candidacy and eventual election will continue on in the Daredevil: Born Again series, with the possibility that it could pop up in other MCU projects, including Armor Wars, Captain America: New World Order, Thunderbolts, and Ms. Marvel.

Surprisingly, the report mentions that it could also be a big factor in Spider-Man 4. The character of Spider-Man is no stranger to dealing with Kingpin, and, according to The Cosmic Circus’ report, they could be headed for another meeting in the still-in-development fourth entry in the franchise.

Daredevil: Born Again is described as an 18-episode revival of the original Netflix series, which ran for three seasons. It will feature the return of leading stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio as they reprise their respective roles as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.

Both characters made their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts in 2021, with Kingpin guest-starring in the Disney+ Hawkeye series and Matt Murdock briefly appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Cox also recently guest-starred in two episodes of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where he got to show off a new side of the hero.
