Crunchyroll announced on Friday that the upcoming English dub for the Blue Lock anime will premiere tomorrow, October 22, 2022, alongside the full reveal of its cast.

The anime itself premiered on October 8, 2022, in Japanese, and has aired two episodes so far, with the third set to release the same day as the first episode’s English dub premieres.

The English cast for the upcoming Blue Lock anime dub includes:

Blue Lock was originally created by Muneyuki Kaneshiro, with illustrations from Yusuke Nomura. The manga premiered in 2018 and quickly became one of the most popular sports mangas and mangas in general in Japan. As of August 2022, the manga had over 10 million copies in circulation and was also nominated for a 2022 Harvey Award in the Best Manga category.

“In 2018, the Japanese national team finished 16th in the FIFA World Cup,” reads the official synopsis for the series. “As a result, the Japanese Football Union hires the soccer enigma Ego Jinpachi. His master plan to lead Japan to stardom is Blue Lock, a training regimen designed to create the world’s greatest egotist striker.”
