The recent release of some promotional images for upcoming figures from DC’s Black Adam film have given us our best look at the movie’s villain yet.

The new images (via The Direct) come from the film’s line of toys and feature nearly all of the main characters, including Sabbac, the main villain of the film and a menacing-looking presence. Sabbac has not appeared in any trailers for the film, so it’s unclear exactly how he’ll factor into the movie.

Check out how Sabbac will look in Black Adam below:

In the DC comics, Sabbac has the ability to harness and access the powers of Hell by speaking his own name. Throughout the comics, Sabbac acts as an adversary for the Shazam Family, as well as having various run-ins with the likes of Black Adam. In the film, he will be played by Marwan Kenzari, who will seemingly portray both Sabbac and Ishmael Gregor, an alter ego of Sabbac’s.

Black Adam features the introduction of Dwayne Johnson as Teth-Adam or the titular anti-hero, whose background story was first teased during 2019’s Shazam! This marks the character’s live-action debut after only appearing in animated shows and films such as Young Justice. Joining Johnson is Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Aldis Hodge as Hawkman. Other cast members include Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui, Mo Amer, and Uli Latukefu in undisclosed roles.

Based on the DC Comics character created by Otto Binder and C.C. Beck, the film is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (The Shallows, Jungle Cruise) from a screenplay written by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshiryani. Producers are Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions along with FlynnPicturesCo’s Beau Flynn, with Scott Sheldon overseeing the project for FlynnPictureCo.
