Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam continued its rule atop the domestic box office, taking in $27.7 million in its second weekend — a drop of -9%, according to Deadline. Still, through its first two weeks, DC’s latest epic has already crossed $100 million domestically (outpacing Hobbs & Shaw by 3%) and $250 million worldwide. Not amazing, but none too shabby either.

Elsewhere, Lionsgate’s Prey for the Devil opened in 2,980 theaters and earned $7.02 million, while other horror ventures, including Smile ($5.05 million for $92 million domestic, $185 million worldwide), Halloween Ends ($3.83 million; $60.3 million domestic, $94 million worldwide) and Terrifier 2 ($1.8 million; $7.6 million domestic, $7.7 million worldwide) continued to soak up moviegoers.

Ticket to Paradise held firm at No. 2 with $10 million in its third weekend — $33.7 million domestic and $119 million worldwide.

The only other release was the concert film Coldplay Music of Spheres Live, which earned $1.015 million from 833 theaters.
