Netflix has dropped the first teaser for Berlin, the upcoming Money Heist spin-off that centers around Pedro Alonso’s titular fan-favorite con-artist. The series is scheduled to make its debut sometime in 2023, less than two years after the main series ended its three-season run.

The video introduces us to the five main cast members who will be joining Alonso. This includes Tristán Ulloa (Fariña) as Berlin’s confidant Damián, Michelle Jenner as electronics specialist Keila, Begoña Vargas (Welcome to Eden) as Cameron, Julio Peña Fernández (Through My Window) as Roi, and Joel Sánchez as Bruce.



Berlin is an eight-episode heist drama that hails from Money Heist creators Esther Martínez Lobato and Álex Pina. The series is written by Lobato, Pina, David Olivia, and David Berrocal, who is also set to become a director along with Geoffrey Cowper. Production is currently underway in Paris.

Pedro Alonso’s Berlin was introduced during the first installment of Money Heist. The character originally died during the first season’s finale. However, thanks to fan reception, Alonso was able to reprise the role in the final seasons, where he appeared in flashback scenes.

Money Heist was created by Álex Pina. The main series starred Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Corberó, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, Alba Flores, Miguel Herrán, Jaime Lorente, Esther Acebo, Darko Perić, and Paco Tous.
