Over a decade after the release of the original movie, the first Avatar sequel is finally set to hit theaters next month. Disney also declared that November 21st is Avatar Day, and they are celebrating by releasing the final trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water during ESPN’s Monday Night Football. You can check out the breathtaking final trailer above!

Although anticipation for Avatar: The Way of Water is certainly growing, the film is going to have to do very well at the box office to justify its existence. Director James Cameron wouldn’t go into specifics regarding the official budget of the movie, only telling GQ that it was “very f***ing expensive” and would have to be the third or fourth highest-grossing film in history in order to break even. That would mean that the Avatar sequel would have to gross a little over $2 billion, something only five movies have done before. Good luck.

The debut of the final trailer for Avatar: The Way of Water isn’t the only way Disney is promoting Avatar Day. With celebrations around the globe, Disney has turned the famous canals of Venice blue with a projection on the water and buildings; transformed the Bondi Beach Icebergs Pool in Sydney into a birds’ eye view billboard for the movie; and will light up 40 digital screens in New York City’s Times Square to create an immersive 3D experience of Pandora’s breathtaking underwater world. They’ve also partnered with Snapchat to create an augmented reality lens that can turn you into a Na’vi, and with Amazon to bring the sights and sounds of Pandora to their Echo devices. You can also get Alexa to help you learn how to speak Na’vi just by saying, “Alexa, teach me Na’vi.” The original 2009 film has also returned to Disney+ and is available to stream.

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive,  and the tragedies they endure.  Avatar: The Way of Water will hit theaters on December 16th.
