The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution was slotted for 2022 and now Skydance Interactive has narrowed it down. The VR sequel will come out on Meta Quest 2 headsets on December 1, 2022.

The release date trailer that played during Meta Connect revealed the date. However, it’s not clear when the zombie survival game will arrive on PlayStation VR platforms. Obviously, PlayStation VR2 is not out yet and is still coming in early 2023, but no date was given for the original PS VR version, which Retribution was announced for. It’s unclear if that port will be releasing in 2022 or not. Skydance noted that “more information on the game’s release on additional platforms will be available at a later date,” so that news should be arriving sometime in the future.

The FAQ on the game’s website is a little cagier. Under a question asking about the platforms, it only states that Retribution will be on the Meta Quest Store on December 1 before saying that the team “[aims] to bring this game to as many platforms as possible as quickly as [it] can, while retaining [its] standards of quality.”
