The film, which hails from Rodrigo García and Alfonso Cuarón, is set to release in theaters on October 14, 2022, before heading to streaming on Apple TV+ on October 21, 2022.

Check out the Raymond & Ray trailer below:

Raymond and Ray is written and directed by Rodrigo García (Albert Nobbs). It will center around the story of the titular half-brothers, “who have lived in the shadow of a terrible father. Somehow, they still each have a sense of humor, and his funeral is a chance for them to reinvent themselves. There’s anger, there’s pain, there’s folly, there might be love, and there’s definitely grave-digging,” reads the description.

The film is produced by Oscar-winning filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón, Bone Curtis, and Julie Lynn for Mockingbird Pictures. It will be executive produced by Gabriela Rodriguez and Shea Kammer.

McGregor recently returned to the world of Star Wars for Disney+’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series, where he reprised his role as the titular Jedi Master. He will also next be seen in Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio movie.

As for Hawke, it’s been a busy year for him, as he starred in the Marvel Studios Disney+ series Moon Knight, as well as in Robert Eggers’ Viking revenge film The Northman, and Blumhouse’s horror film The Black Phone. Next up, he’ll star in Netflix’s Knives Out 2, which is due to premiere in November in theaters and on December 23, 2022, on Netflix.
