Thanks to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and the upcoming Cowabunga Collection, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are making a comeback within the gaming landscape. This has seemingly paved the way for Nickelodeon to announce a sweepstakes where a special Xbox Series S is the highest prize. And not only that, developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu confirmed that their game sold a million copies in its first week.

The custom Xbox Series S is more elaborate than other themed versions of the same console, as Shredder protrudes from the backside as if busting through the system. The front side over the fan has the Foot Clan logo that has been tagged over. This setup means that people will have to use the system upright since Shredder makes standing it horizontally quite odd.

Those interested in having a chance to win the Shredder box have to first follow the official TMNT or G4 accounts on Twitter or Instagram before 11:59 p.m. PT on July 21. The second step involves replying or commenting on the post revealing the sweepstakes with the #TurtlePowerSweepstakes hashtag. The contest encourages users to share why they are fans of the franchise, but that’s not required to secure an entry. One person per month from July to October will win one of these special consoles, so there will also be multiple chances to snag one.

Coincidentally, Tribute Games and Dotemu announced a sales milestone for Shredder’s Revenge, as the game sold a million copies in its first week (a number it has undoubtedly surpassed in the few weeks since). Tribute Co-Founder Jean-Francois Major commented that his company “set out to make the ultimate celebration of a chapter in TMNT history that means the world to [them]” and that it has been “wonderful to watch the accessible fun of beat ’em ups resonate with longtime fans and genre newcomers alike.”

Featuring all four turtles as playable characters alongside Master Splinter, April, and Casey Jones, Shredder’s Revenge is a meaty arcade game with bosses from across the cartoon and films that TMNT’s oldest fans cherish. It’s made by a group of dedicated fans, as evidenced by the few developer diaries and Dotemu CEO Cyrille Imbert’s statement that the game is something he “dreamed of working on ever since [he] began watching the original cartoon and funneling coins into the TMNT arcade cabinets as a kid.”
