A new trailer for the upcoming third season of Kaguya-sama: Love is War was released, highlighting the opening and ending themes of the anime.

The Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 3 trailer also features various footage from the third season of the show but mainly aims to showcase what its opening and ending themes will be like. The opening song is performed by Masayuki Suzuki, who returns to the series with the song “Giri Giri,” while the ending theme, “Heart wa Oteage” is performed by returning artist Airi Suzuki.

The third season of Kaguya-sama: Love is War will see nearly all of its original cast returning from the previous two seasons, including:

  • Makoto Furukawa as Miyuki Shirogane
  • Konomi Kohara as Chika Fujiwara
  • Ryōta Suzuki as Yū Ishigami
  • Yūki Takada as Rei Onodera
  • Miyu Tomita as Miko Iino
  • Yumiri Hanamori as Ai Hayasaka
  • Momo Asakura as Nagisa Kashiwagi
  • Rina Hidaka as Kobachi Osaragi
  • Taku Yashiro as Kashiwagi’s boyfriend
  • Yutaka Aoyama as Narrator

Not only is the third season of the anime set to premiere in April, but a film, Kaguya-sama: Love is War -Ultra Romantic-, released this week in Japan.

“At the renowned Shuchiin Academy, Miyuki Shirogane and Kaguya Shinomiya are the student body’s top representatives,” reads the official synopsis for the anime. “Ranked the top student in the nation and respected by peers and mentors alike, Miyuki serves as the student council president. Alongside him, the vice president Kaguya—eldest daughter of the wealthy Shinomiya family—excels in every field imaginable. They are the envy of the entire student body, regarded as the perfect couple.”
