O Bishop Arts Theatre Center apresenta um 1619 Project One-Act Festival Talkback ao vivo na rede de TV HowlRound global, baseada em commons e produzida por pares na sexta-feira, 17 de fevereiro de 2023, às 19h55 PST (San Francisco, UTC -8) / 9: 17h55 CST (Dallas, UTC -6) / 22h55 EST (Nova York, UTC -5).

A partir de fevereiro de 2023, o Bishop Arts Theatre Center (BATC) produzirá o 1619 Project One-Act Festival em Dallas, Texas. A BATC contratou nove dramaturgos para escrever um roteiro inspirado na Dra. Nikole Hannah-Jones, ganhadora do prêmio Pulitzer, best-seller do New York Times, The 1619 Project. A Dra. Hannah-Jones comparecerá à produção em 17 de fevereiro de 2023 e participará de um talkback após a apresentação.

A performance é possível em parte pelo All Stars Project e Dallas Truth Racial Healing and Transformation. O evento será transmitido ao vivo nesta página.

Dave Jenks is an American novelist and Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Between those careers, he’s worked as a deckhand, commercial fisherman, divemaster, taxi driver, construction manager, and over the road truck driver, among many other things. He now lives on a sea island, in the South Carolina Lowcountry, with his wife and youngest daughter. They also have three grown children, five grand children, three dogs and a whole flock of parakeets. Stinnett grew up in Melbourne, Florida and has also lived in the Florida Keys, the Bahamas, and Cozumel, Mexico. His next dream is to one day visit and dive Cuba.
