SUBSCRIBE TO THE NEW ARROW IN THE HEAD SHOW YOUTUBE CHANNEL HERE!

As announced earlier this week, The Arrow in the Head Show – which used to be released through the JoBlo Horror Originals YouTube channel – has now migrated over to its own YouTube channel. Today, we have the first new episode since the big move, and in this one hosts John “The Arrow” Fallon and Lance Vlcek are joined by Tyler Nichols to discuss the 1992 film Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (watch it HERE).

JoBlo and Arrow in the Head readers might know Tyler Nichols from the reviews he writes for the site, or from the JoBlo Horror Originals videos he writes, narrates, and/or produces.

This episode of The Arrow in the Head Show is certainly not a Hellraiser III lovefest. In fact, The Arrow opens the conversation by comparing the first two Hellraiser movies to filet mignon and Hellraiser III to McDonald’s food. But there is at least one fan of the movie in the mix…

Directed by Anthony Hickox from a screenplay by Peter Atkins (who crafted the story with Tony Randel), Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth has the following synopsis:

Some call him the Black Prince of Hell. Some call him the Angel of Suffering. The horror fans everywhere, he’s Pinhead, the urbane, spike-faced minion of evil with a bloodlust for human souls. Now Pinhead’s back in the most diabolical Hellraiser of them all – Hellraiser III: Hell On Earth! TV reporter Joey Summerskill is on assignment at a local hospital when a bloodied teenage boy is rushed into the emergency room. As Joey watches, the writhing boy is literally torn apart by chains impaling his body. Fleeing the carnage, Joey follows the victim’s girlfriend to a downtown nightclub, the Boiler Room. In the apartment above the Boiler Room rests the owner’s newly purchased sculpture: A pillar etched with distorted figures and faces. Among the frozen images is Pinhead. Tonight he shall be released.

The film stars Terry Farrell, Paula Marshall, Kevin Bernhardt, Ken Carpenter, Peter Atkins, Aimée Leigh, Brent Bolthouse, Eric Willhelm, Robert Hammond, Clayton Hill, and Peter Boynton, with Doug Bradley as Pinhead.

Here’s some information on The Arrow in the Head Show:

We’re trying something a bit new here on Arrow In The Head. After many years behind the scenes, we’ve decided to take our sarcastic, booze-influenced style into the video age with The Arrow In The Head Show! Hosted by John Fallon aka The Arrow and Lance Vlcek, we will dig into not only the newest horror flicks hitting the big and small screens but also delve into the good, bad, and ugly of horror from the golden ages of the ’80s through the underrated 90s and maybe a bit beyond.

Something groovy and a tad rough around the edges, we are here to talk shop with a drink in hand, a bit of foul language, and a whole lot of heart.

The Hellraiser III episode of the show was Edited by Lance, and it was Written by The Arrow and Lance.
