There has been confirmation that the Teasing Master Takagi-san manga is ending in November of this year. Monthly Shonen Sunday’s September issue has revealed this information.

What are the details of the Teasing Master Takagi-san ending?

The ending is taking place in Monthly Shonen Sunday’s November issue, which is coming out on October 12. Yen Press is publishing the series in English and has 17 volumes, with the latest one coming out last April. The series as a whole has 19 volumes.

It started publication on June 2013 with Monthly Shonen Sunday Mini and moved to the Monthly Shonen Sunday division on July 2016.

What is the series about?

Teasing Master Takagi-san is a manga series written by Soichiro Yamamoto. It is a romantic comedy and it has a slice-of-life approach.

The story takes place in middle school, and Nishikata and Takagi are the main characters. Takagi is always teasing and pulling pranks on Nishikata, with the latter annoyed and frustrated. Once the story begins, Takagi decides that he has had enough and wants payback. So, he tries to pull different jokes and pranks on Nishikata but never manages to pull them off.

In fact, Nishikata continues to tease him and goes even further in that regard. The series has an episodic nature that has become very endearing to the fandom.

The series had an anime adaptation by Shin-Ei Animation. The anime ran from 2018 to 2022 and had a total of 36 episodes and an OVA. It also had a video game titled Teasing Master Takagi-san: Kyunkyun Records, which came out on June 2022 for Android and iOS, although an offline version came out on January 2023.

The anime has a total of three seasons, and there is no information regarding a potential new one. The same goes for a potential new anime adaptation of the manga now that is reaching its conclusion.
