Universal Products & Experiences and Amblin Entertainment announced on Wednesday that parts of San Diego Comic-Con 2023 will transform into a Jurassic Park experience for fans.

What is the Jurassic Park event at SDCC 2023?

The fan event will celebrate the original Jurassic Park film’s 30th anniversary, as it re-creates fan-favorite moments from the iconic film.

Beyond going through the legendary gates of Jurassic Park, visitors will also get to check out some “meticulously crafted scenes,” including the “Dilophosaurus attack scene to *that* famous moment on the toilet.”

Entry into the event is completely free, and will take place in San Diego on July 21 and July 22. A select amount of reservations were made available online, but the website for the event says they aren’t required. Instead, walk-ups will be allowed in, but it may take a bit more waiting.

Alongside the attractions, Jurassic-themed food offerings will also be made available, as well as a Visitor’s Center that will feature 30th-anniversary-inspired toys, collectibles apparel, and more.
