Mob Psycho 100 III Episode 2 Recap

For the culture festival, Mob gets assigned to the group in charge of costumes for his class’ haunted house. His groupmate suggests they use white sheets for the ghosts. Although, Mob suggests putting in more effort. Time passes, and there are only two weeks left before the festival starts. Mob begins panicking since his group hasn’t done anything significant yet. Meanwhile, Serizawa tells Reigen he wants to attend night school. Suddenly, Haruaki Amakusa, a Yokai Hunter, enters the office. Reigen asks him to wait while they handle another client. After peeking outside, he sees a police officer talking to Amakusa.

After the client leaves, Amakusa returns. He asks for their assistance in hunting down an evil Yokai group named Hyakki that plans on bringing back the Great Yokai King. Reigen agrees to help after Amakusa offers to pay a large sum for the consultation fee. Shortly after, Mob arrives, wishing to discuss something with Reigen. Reigen tells him they can talk about it after they finish the case with Amakusa.

The group ends up at a building where they exorcised a spirit before. They explore the area while Mob is still thinking about culture festival preparations. Eventually, their group has no choice but to keep moving since the exit disappeared. Amakusa blocks a Yokai from attacking, but his sword breaks. More Yokai appear, so Mob and Serizawa handle the exorcism. Shortly after, the Four Hell Lords of Hyakki and the Great Yokai King show up. Amakusa panics, but Mob and Serizawa manage to defeat them. Thanks to the exorcism, Mob finds a solution to his problem regarding the culture festival. His group creates costume designs based on the Yokai he encountered.
