The Hocus Pocus 2 release date is upon us.

Nearly thirty years after Hocus Pocus hit theaters, Disney is releasing a sequel to the story of the Sanderson sisters. Much to the fans’ delight, Hocus Pocus 2 will see the main cast from the original film reprising their roles. Here is when the movie will hit the streaming service.

When to Watch Hocus Pocus 2

Disney+ set the Hocus Pocus 2 release date at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Friday, September 30. The upcoming movie is a horror-comedy sequel to Disney’s 1993 cult classic, which will be bringing back everyone’s favorite witch sisters: multi-award-winning actress Bette Midler (The First Wives Club) as Winifred Sanderson, four-time Golden Globe winner Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the City, And Just Like That) as Sarah Sanderson and Kathy Najimy (Sister Act) as Mary Sanderson.

Anne Fletcher (27 DressesThe Proposal) directed Hocus Pocus 2 from a screenplay by Jen D’Angelo (Workaholics). It is produced by Lynn Harris and Steven Haft. Executive producers are Adam Shankman, Ralph Winter, and David Kirschner.

“It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge,” reads the synopsis. “Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.”

Additional cast includes Doug Jones (The Shape of Water), Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Lilia Buckingham (Dirt), Belisa Escobedo (American Horror Stories), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Tony Hale (Veep), Sam Richardson (The Tomorrow War), Juju Brener (Vanquish), Froy Gutierrez (Teen Wolf), as well as Taylor Paige Henderson, and Nina Kitchen.
