The Heartstopper Season 2 teaser for Netflix‘s hit teen comedy-drama has been released, teasing an upcoming adventure to Paris for Nick and Charlie.

The new trailer for the series previews more of the romance between the two main characters, as the pair head to Paris on a school trip with their friends. Along that, shots of returning friends Tao, Elle, Tara, Darcy, and Isaac were seen. Season 2 will stream this August 3.

“In Season 2, Nick and Charlie navigate their new relationship; Tara and Darcy face unforeseen challenges; Tao and Elle work out if they can ever be more than just friends…Plus there’s exams, a school trip to Paris, and prom!” reads the logline.

Who is in Heartstopper?

Heartstopper is led by Kit Connor as Nick, Joe Locke as Charlie, Yasmin Finney as Elle Argent, Corinna Brown as Tara Jones, William Gao as Tao Xu, Kizzy Edgell as Darcy Olsson, and Tobie Donovan as Isaac Henderson, and more. Olivia Colman is also returning as Nick’s mother in the next season.

Season 2 will also feature new cast members Leila Khan as Sahar Zahid, Jack Barton as Nick’s older brother David Nelson, Bradley Riches as James McEwan, and Nima Taleghani as Mr. Farouk, along with Bel Priestley as Naomi, Ash Self as Felix, and Thibault de Montalembert as Nick’s father Stephane.

Based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novel series of the same name, Heartstopper is written and created by Oseman, with Euros Lyn serving as director; the series is produced by See-Saw Films.
