Gamescom’s Opening Night Live for 2022 had, much like many other shows hosted by Geoff Keighley, many reveals and trailers. Here they all are in on convenient place.

Everywhere

This previously revealed game from Build a Rocket Boy (and former Rockstar Games star Leslie Benzies) is all about letting users make their own experience in some vague way while also having a “cinematic experience.” It’s promising a lot and won’t be a “normal game,” as admitted by Assistant Game Director Adam Whiting. It is being planned for 2023.

Dune: Awakening

Funcom showed off a trailer for its announced Dune game, which is open-world survival MMO for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

DualSense Edge Controller

Sony revealed a pro version of the PS5 DualSense controller.

The Callisto Protocol

Striking Distance Studios showed more gameplay of the upcoming horror game.

The Lords of the Fallen

This new RPG that’s no longer called “Lords of the Fallen 2” is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in the future.

Moving Out 2

A follow-up to the 2020’s co-op game Moving Out was announced and is releasing on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2023.

Hogwarts Legacy

This new story trailer showed off a side quest where players have to make a tough choice. It also revealed some of the game’s pre-order bonuses.

New Tales From the Borderlands

While it already leaked, the sequel to Tale From the Borderland got its first official trailer and release date. It will come out on October 21 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Dying Light 2: Bloody Ties

Dying Light 2‘s first big story DLC got its first real trailer and is coming on October 13. A new big community-focused patch is now live, too.

This Tarkov-esque shooter is entering early access in October.

Sonic Frontiers

Sonic Frontiers‘ latest trailer focuses on its story while also showing more environments.

Under the Waves

Under the Waves is a new narrative-based game that lets players explore the ocean. It is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2023.

Goat Simulator 3

Coffee Stain Games released an extended gameplay demo for its weird simulator.

Return to Monkey Island

Return to Monkey Island now has a release date. It is coming out September 19 for PC and Switch.

Moonbreaker

Subnautica developer, Unknown Worlds, unveiled a Warhammer-like strategy game that was co-created with Mistborn and Wheel of Time novelist Brandon Sanderson. Players can even paint their units.

Friends vs. Friends

This new game is a card-based multiplayer shooter is releasing on “consoles” and PC.

Lies of P

This Pinocchio Bloodborne game got a new trailer full of gameplay. It is also coming out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2023. It will also be on Game Pass.

Stranded: Alien Dawn

This planet survival sim from the Surviving Mars team is is coming to early access in October 2022

Atlas Fallen

This action RPG from the studio behind The Surge announced this new game coming in 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Homeworld 3

This new Homeworld 3 trailer showed off new gameplay.

Genshin Impact

This Genshin Impact trailer had gameplay for Sumeru, a new character.

Honaki Rail

MiHoYo’s strategy RPG got a new trailer.

High On Life

Justin Roiland’s team over at Squanch Games released a video of one of the game’s boss fights.

The Expanse: Telltale Series

The upcoming Telltale game based on the sci-fi show received a new gameplay breakdown from some of its creatives. It also got a summer 2023 release window.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game is a newly announced multiplayer game based on the bizarre film series. It will be coming out on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in early 2023.

Scars Above

Something Wicked Studios, which is made up of people who made Fallout, The Outer Worlds, Skyrim, and Dragon Age, are making a new game called Wyrdsong, a new open-world RPG.

Ironbird Creations released a teaser for its new IP coming to “consoles” and PC. It’s a hack-and-slash action adventure that has taken inspiration from Nier.

CrossfireX Babylon

Smilegate Entertainment released a trailer for CrossfireX‘s latest update. The game had a rough launch but this patch will add two new maps, one reintroduced map, a new mission, additional weapons, quality-of-life improvements, and overhauled U.I., improved matchmaking, and more.

This PC game is now coming to Switch.

The Outlast Trials

The Outlast Trials got a more extensive trailer and is holding a closed beta from October 28 to November 1.

The Finals

Embark Studios revealed its free-to-play team shooter that “takes dynamism and intuitiveness to a new level.” It is made up from veterans from the Battlefield franchise and a bigger reveal is coming in September.

Dead Island 2

 

While it leaked last week, Dambuster Studios had a new cinematic and gameplay trailer for Dead Island 2, reintroducing the zombie-slaying RPG to the world. It is releasing on February 3, 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
