Dr. Stone Season 3 Episode 5 Recap

Kaseki is having trouble building the ship due to its size. Ryusui offers to build a scale model of the ship to help later make the parts more accurate to its size. Meanwhile, Minami is documenting the whole process by taking photos. Using a pantograph helps the others create the ship parts sizes properly. During winter, Senku and the others engage in winter sports, and Senku creates chocolate. Minami invites the others to write comments on the photos she took.

A year later, the ship is finally done. Minami gets emotional because people are parting ways and might not see each other again. Senku assures her it’s not the end, and they’re coming back. Either way, they take a commemorative photo with the ship called Science Vessel Perseus. The Kingdom of Science is officially splitting into two groups. Ryusui announces that he’s created a list of people he will bring to the ship. Senku, Chrome, Kaseki, the power team, Yuzuriha, Ukyo, Kinro, and Gen get on the ship. They also decided to bring Hyoga and Homura since it would be dangerous to leave them behind.

Ginro initially decides to stay, but as the ship leaves, he jumps in the water and pretends to chase after them, wanting to impress the girls. However, Ukyo and the others sense Ginro, and Taiju brings him back to the ship. Senku announces their first destination — the island where his dad’s team landed.
