During New York Comic Con, Paramount released the first look at Star Trek: Discovery Season 5.

“The New York Comic Con 2022 Star Trek Universe audience got an action-packed first look at Star Trek: Discovery Season 5,” says the description. “Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), Saru (Doug Jones), Tilly (Mary Wiseman), and the rest of the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery return for an epic new season.”

Star Trek: Discovery is about the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new lifeforms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself. In the end of the season one finale, it showed that Discovery has finally encountered the USS Enterprise.

The cast includes Sonequa Martin-Green as Michael Burnham, Doug Jones as Saru, Anthony Rapp as Paul Stamets, Mary Wiseman as Sylvia Tilly, Wilson Cruz as Dr. Hugh Culber, David Ajala as Book, Blu del Barrio as Adira, and Ian Alexander as Gray.

Alex Kurtzman and Michelle Paradise serve as co-showrunners and executive producers with Heather Kadin, Jenny Lumet, Frank Siracusa, John Weber, Olatunde Osunsanmi, Rod Roddenberry, and Trevor Roth. The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment.

Star Trek: Discovery Seasons 1-4 are now available for streaming on Paramount+.
