In a tweet by the official Demon Slayer Twitter account, it was revealed that Brandon McInnis would be voicing Gyutaro (Upper Six), one of the bigger villains of the season and a member of the Twelve Kizuki, a group comprised of twelve of the most powerful demons that serve under Muzan Kibutsukji.

McInnis’ career as a voice actor is a relatively short one, with the actor only beginning in 2016, but he’s already amassed quite the number of roles. His latest project saw him portray Kenshiro Daimon in Odd Taxi, although some of his most noteworthy performances include Finral in Black Clover, Yūta Hibiki in SSSS.Gridman, Gen Asagiri in Dr. Stone, and Sir Nighteye in My Hero Academia.

The first episode of the Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc premiered on February 20, 2022, at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT on streaming services, with the rest of the 11-episode season releasing weekly every Sunday until the finale on May 1, 2022.

Taking place between chapter 70 and chapter 99 of the hit manga, the Entertainment District Arc sees Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu meet up with Tengen as they search for his missing wives who were investigating rumors of demons. Season 2 began with a seven-episode serialized adaptation of Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train, which was originally released in Japan last year and just formatted for television episodes, before covering the Entertainment District Arc.
