Disney+ has released the latest trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, a new Marvel Cinematic Universe series starring Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer who specializes in superhuman-oriented legal cases. As we know, she also transforms into She-Hulk thanks to a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo).

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also announced during the Walt Disney Company’s 2022 Upfront presentation this afternoon that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will be launching on Disney+ on August 17th. That date is the same which leaked several days ago. There have been rumours that the She-Hulk series isn’t in good shape, but the trailer looks like a lot of fun.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is a half-hour legal comedy (something Kevin Feige has acknowledged they’ve never done before) consisting of nine episodes directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia, with Jessica Gao serving as head writer. The series will follow Jennifer Walters as she “navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.” I can’t wait! In addition to Tatiana Malany, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law also stars Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry. There are also several MCU actors reprising their roles for the series, including Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/the Abomination, and Benedict Wong as Wong.

As exciting as it is to see Tim Roth reprise his role of the Abomination after so long, I’m thrilled that Benedict Wong will be turning up as well. Give this dude his own series already. Wong appeared with the Abomination in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and seemed to be on friendly terms with the villain; in fact, if you watch the scene where Wong and the Abomination step through a portal in Shang-Chi, it looks like they’re returning to Blonsky’s cell seen in the She-Hulk trailer.

Shang-Chi, She-Hulk

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will debut on Disney+ on August 17, 2022, but the next MCU series will be Ms. Marvel on June 8, 2022.
