Vinland Saga season 2 episode 23 Recap

Thorfinn tells Canute that if he intends to use his authority to force his way to get the farm, he’ll run to a peaceful place where he can escape war. This amuses Canute, and he ends up respecting Thorfinn. Canute decides to leave the farm and cancels his plans of seizing other farms. He also ordered the Danish army in England to disband, effectively changing his relationship with the English. Thorfinn asks Einar to join him in creating a peaceful land, one without slavery or war, in honor of Arnheid.

Thorfinn and Einar exchange gratitude and goodbyes with Snake, Olmar, Sverkel, and Pater. As they sail away, Snake reveals his real name to them. Following that, everyone in the farm is working hard to cultivate the land.
